You can combo the stacking damage buff from Arcane Blast on PTR into a Barrage.
Now whether or not this is fair or balanced is really secondary to the severe naming dilemna it imposes.
After hours of soul searching, I've discovered the solution, a solution so perfect that I wonder if you Bads can even read its awesomeness without an Indiana Jones-Ark-Face-Melting upon seeing such true awesome.
It depends on the number of Blast stacks.
One Stack - 1 A Blast + 5 Missiles + 1 Barrage - MASTER COMBO
Two Stack - 2 A Blast + 5 Missiles + 1 Barrrage - AWESOME COMBO
Three Stack - 3 A Blast + 5 Missiles + 1 Barrage - BLASTER COMBO

Raddy, do you know a PoM Pyro macro that isn't borked? Mine always seems to hang on Presence of Mind.
I don't use a pom macro. I just bind the spell I pom to be adjacent. I believe the problem you face with the macros is you're trying to fire it off while still on global. (Or is your problem the "Can't do that while moving" BS?)
Have you had a chance to try out the glove / boot engi chant? What are your thoughts? I was thinking the boot runspeed thingie could be really nice particularly as a gnome.

Clearly the best name would be Master Blaster.
Boot enchant + EA is amazingly good. I was pretty emo about enginering and was considering dropping it for JC until it saving me a few times. (Which I might still do because let's face it, I'm fucking emo)
I think US players heavily undervalue engineering. (It seems like Euros and Koreans use it a LOT more)
If you're planning on playing Frost, I think you'd be retarded to not go with Engi considering how awesome the gloves become. I don't use the engi enchant as Arcane, though I probably should, I've no clue what to bind it to tbh. =p
The boots are obviously of higher value if you're gnome, but are probably worth it always. (Basically you lose the 3% crit bonus dmg sadly)
True hardcore mages should be engi/jc or maybe engi/bs imo.
Btw, I think I found the new baller spec, i.e. BAD but fun to play. 28/21/22. Instant Invis, double IB, blastwave knockbacks, OH MY. (ROOM FOR SO MUCH SMALLHANDEDNESS)

In one of your earlier blogs you mentioned 5% hit chance for pvp. How does this work? 3% for the 70 hit cap, 1% over for that extra 1% chance to resist? What about Magic Resistance, or any other racial that offers 2% hit reduction? Somehow I still miss people with 12% hit; or are these "misses" actually resists? I'm so confused!
It's 5% base (because the inherent 1% miss was removed) + 2% to bypass racials and +4% for some talents (war imp SR is the only one I can think of off the top of my head).
So really 7% should be plenty unless you're fighting a lot of gnome prot warriors.
Could you explain exactly how JC is better then say enchanting and by how much? E.g. if someone already has enchanting of 400 would it even be worth it to switch?

I've been playing around with Arcane Fortitude/Imp ice armor & ice armor glyph and the buff to survivability is quite noticeable. I think with full deadly, full resil, more int and 3/3 prismatic cloak, arcane's survivability should be quite respectable even late season.
yeah ? say that to rogues at the and of the season (as usualy they will get + 50 dps min upgrade to weapons). They are already doing almost 4k mutilates and 6.5k eviscerates (not counting white attacks for 500+ and poisons).
Almost all serious rogues already have weapons that are very close, equal or even better to Deadly Glad weapons. If anything, I expect their dps to go down a bit as they replace PVE gear with PVP gear.

Well, stats-wise, all the professions are pretty equal right now, but the reason JC really shines is because it allows you to off-socket and still get the socket bonuses (via the JC-only prismatics).
The theory though is that once epic gems are released, BS will become better (putting epic gems into bracers and gloves). However I'm not completely convinced that Blizzard will leave the other professions out in the cold (as they seem to have put quite a bit of effort into balancing them out). Still, IMO JC will still give BS a run for its money because of socket bonuses + it already gives the highest stat bonuses.

All serious rogues will get season 2 weapons at the end of season 1, or weapons from new instance (do you remember what blizz said about naxx for example ?-"its kara in bc" and now think about difference betwen weapons from kara and lady vashj for example) so...
We can only hope that by then, Deadly weapons will have at least been buffed to KT level to compete with PVE (which should be the case already IMO) OR that the new "Lady Vashj" of Wrath be as hard as KJ so basically nobody can get that loot for a very long while.

@phael - yeah hope to play some more.
I couldn't really get a feel for that matchup yet. One the one hand, I think mana burn is huge, on the other Arcane vs Frost is a very big advantage.
Don't know if I can find a druid to run that comp yet though until we can get some resilience as we were getting farmed by terrible keyboard turning rogues who would kill my druid before cloak ended and I could hope to peel.
I almost wonder if we're better just running balance druid + arcane mage until my druid can get 500-600 resil.
