This girl is obviously fat IRL and that is why she plays WoW. You’ll notice the first strike, fat face. Second strike, picture of mostly face at strange angle. Third strike, fat shoulder. YOU FAT CUNT GODRAMBO IS YOUR GOD

Sometimes, at night, I like to hide cupcakes under my fat rolls. Then when your comments make me cry in a corner, I can pick them out and nibble on them while cutting myself.

Pandemic vs MoB (AND FREDDY WONG IS A GUITAR HERO)
WSVG has been hot so far. Come hang out on irc if you're bored and trashtalk with us. =p
Pandemic has swept the series 3-0 in a mirror match with the only difference being the priest specs. The ability of Pandemic to play this team as effectively as a team that runs it as their only matrix has been the topic of discussion a lot.
The first game really was over before it started with Zizek getting sapped and then dropped less than 30 seconds into the game.
The second game didn't go much better, trinketing the CS and then burning stoneform immediately was probably not the best. MoB tried to control and damage Nitrana in the second round, which as anyone who has played this matrix knows, doesn't work very well between dispels/vanish/CloS. Nitrana was still able to unload into Zizek enough to bring him down and nobody on MoB was low with Kintt free to run heal/dispel.
The third game was fantastic; it was a few minutes long where each team's primary target was changed many times and there were lots of close saves. Again, the long games definitely favor the holy priest and eventually Kintt broke free to drink and heal spam for the win. MoB was mostly on malice during the third round while Pandemic moved focus around; Zizek was able to kite/avoid focus extremely well, but was really unable to put out much damage, at least not in synch with his teammates.
I think you can definitely win with shadowpriest vs. the disc priest team variant, but the odds are slightly stacked against you. You really rely on your shadowpriest being free to damage early game to get an early momentum advantage; this pretty much requires you not getting sapped at all, and not being too devastated by early game CC, and being able to control their rogue and mage enough to reduce their damage to your shadowpriest so he's free to nuke. In keep away games, the power of the extra burst is really wasted and the better heals and survivability just have a larger impact on the end result. (I think so at least!)
** UPDATE **
1) Freddy Wong is a sex icon and a true guitar hero.
2) This announcer girl is REALLY cute. (But not as much so as Freddy Wong, sorry)
3) Seriously, Freddy Wong is a god. GO BIG OR GO HOME.

WSVG!!
I only saw the very end of the Pandemic games, and really have nothing to say about them so I'll just move on.
Will mage/rogue/priest and rogue/priest/lock still dominate? Where are the super annoying warrior/shammy/pally teams? Does lack of water really neuter the warrior/2healer setups?
I decided to go with the S2 chest on recommendation from Bubbles and am 6 points short of the wand this week, which sadly is basically the next piece that is an actual upgrade. Think of the sick wand dps upgrade though.
I'll briefly mention here that I enjoyed the Pig vid, but it wasn't really what I was hoping for -- it seemed like just something he threw together over a pretty short time period, which is fine, but I had been waiting on a new vid from him for months. The music was great though. ^^
I'm not exactly who I'm pulling for to win WSVG; I guess I'll be cheering for Insurrection and MoB since they have some of my favorite players on them. It feels a little weird to be cheering for people instead of shit-talking them for sucking, but it's nice to try something new.
I'm off to Vegas very briefly, but should be back to comment and chat about the ongoing WSVG Saturday afternoon. BTW, check out #fhpvp on irc.gamesurge.net if you want a place to idle with us.

THIS ISS DRRRAAAAMAAAA
I'm just keeping quiet. ^^
I realize that I never congratulated the 2s teams who earned invites to the next stage of the CGS qualifiers, so, way to be!! A few of my favorite players in the battlegroup made it, so rep Stormstrike. (<3 to Hamchook and Eks especially)
I'm psyched to watch this week's WSVG and I really recommend for everyone to show support and watch it. None of us will be at this one, but give it time. ^^ 3s is awesome to both play and watch, and I love the WSVG rule set.
** Mini Update **
Um, forgot that I need to get Vegas etc. all over again after reformatting so that's what I've been up to instead of posting today. I been working on a silly joke project in WoW that should probably be finished up this weekend; I was hoping sooner but I leave tomorrow for Vegas for a few days and won't be back to work on it till Saturday. Though between WSVG and arena catchup, who knows how much time I'll have. ^^
I've been messing around with the relentless earthstorm diamond for the past few hours in game; my initial reaction is that it is quite good, maybe the best meta for 5s, but probably much worse than the focus gem in the smaller arenas. That's basically just intuition/theorycraft from running around with it in BGs, so take that how you will. (I.E. DON'T FLAME ME IF I CHANGE MY MIND IN A FEW DAYS KK?)

Just a News Update
One of the pretty obvious disadvantages to running a static 5-member 5s teams is you rely on all 5 being available to play. Fortunately for us, (or unfortunately lol) that hasn't been too much an issue this season, but this week we have a long stretch where at least one person will be away. Because of this, we won't be playing till the weekend, and I can't really do 2s or 3s for a few days as well. (THIS SUCKS!)
That whining aside, it is great to play a static lineup. We ran with a full roster last season and it was a constant pain to ensure everyone got their 30%, and because we ran so many different lineups, we never really reached our potential in any one of them. I still think 7 is pretty much the number where adding more players hurts more than it can possibly help, but smaller lineups if you can make them work have many advantages.
It's been a pretty slow week for WoW news -- I was really hoping for the resilience DoTs change or fixing Mage S2 for the 2.13 patch coming soon, but it doesn't look like either will make it in the next build. This is a bit problematic as it makes spending points for us very hard. Most of us who've picked up our weapons are now looking to pick up 2 S2 pieces, but as to which 2 will end up being optimal, it's anyone's guess right now. Gloves and chest? Chest and shoulders? Gloves and shoulders?
Being that I favor DPS heavy gear, I'm unlikely to go with the double 2pc except in 2s or 3s against teams who I know like to punish me for my more squishy gear selection. The Trial Fire legs from KZ when damage-gemmed still provide a great way of trading survivability for extra damage, so for me the decision is basically which piece of season 1 I'd like to keep and which two I'll replace. (The Destruction Holo Gogs are too good to not wear IMO) I'm a few points short of being able to grab both gloves and chest this week, which temps me to opt for shoulders+gloves, and I know this has been done to death, but:
S1 Chest -> S2 Chest: +6 stam, -7 int, +2 spell crit, +2 resilience, +3 dmg
S1 Gloves -> S2 Gloves: +3 stam, +1 int, -5 spell crit, 0 resilience, +2 dmg
S1 Shoulders -> S2 Shoulders: +3 stam, -3 int, 0 spell crit, 0 resilience, +3 dmg
These two aren't an option for me, but for those who are considering helm/legs:
S1 Helm -> S2 Helm: -3 stam, +3 int, -2 spell crit, +1 resilience, +4 dmg
S1 Legs -> S2 Legs: -3 stam, +2 int, +1 spell crit, +1 resilience, +5 dmg
At this point, when you look at this closely, no piece of gear is really an upgrade of any consequence, except perhaps the chest, and even this is highly questionable. Amusingly, the 2 resilience, 2 dmg, 2 int upgrade you get from upgrading your wand is as good as it gets. I think I'll hang out another day or so before committing to chest+wand as my next purchases in hopes of a follow-up from Blue, but it is a strange situation we mages are in; we really can't upgrade meaningfully from our season one set and unless the double 2pc is getting you that extra 35 resilience, you're really better off making sure you pick up the non-set gear first.
Since I don't want to spend this whole post whining about the broken mage S2 set as it is a subject that's been beaten to death, resurrected, then beaten to death again, what are people's thoughts on Relentless Earthstorm as a PvP Metagem? It's definitely trendy in PvE, and it seems like most players don't understand that the 3% critical bonus really ends up being about 9% (9.5 if you're arcane); now resilience is going to work against you here, but we're talking 300ish more damage on bolt crits, and close to 200 more on lance. Picking up 500 more damage per shatter combo seems pretty fantastic and definitely might make up for the loss of the half cast proc. I very much like the mystical skyfire proc as it lets me put out pretty crazy damage by double casting missiles, and I'm not sure I'd like to give that much, but I'm pretty tempted to try out the relentless earthstorm. The other slight problem with the earthstorm equivalent are the somewhat cumbersome gem requirements -- I definitely don't want to have to use 2 yellow gems; I suppose a spell crit + dmg gem and a 10 resilience gem won't ruin my gem setup too much, but if I'm giving up damage to pick up the extra critical bonus, am I sacrificing too much base damage?
I'll hopefully have a strategy article update tomorrow as it's been quite a while since I've put up meaningful content. ^^
I'd like to thank minti for the positive mention on Shadow Gaming, much <3. We just setup an IRC channel for guild pvpers in which to hang or for anyone who wants a place to idle/chat. It's a ghost town so far, but hopefully it'll get at least a little use and it'd be much better for chatting than talking in game in between arena matches.

New Faxmonkey and Pigvomit vids?
Rumored to hit very shortly, so be on the lookout ^^
** UPDATE **
Fax's New Vid: http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=42712
My excuse for lack of video is lame but ever since 2.1.2, my FPS has gone from 100 while frapsing down to about 25 and this really make it impossible to fraps and play my best. I'll keep trying to find a way to fix the problem, but until I do, I can't really record much. It is perhaps for the best as while I think I've gotten a lot stronger in 5s this season, I feel embarrassingly bad in 2s and 3s still, so I'll use the extra time to practice. ^^ (We still win but that's due to Yecal)
I'm still really undecided what to do in the next video. All three arena sizes and duels seems like too much to include and while 5v5 is generally boring as hell to watch, I think I play it better and more interestingly than I play the smaller brackets. (I'm much more aggressive than other WE mages on the battlegroup) There is now abundant dueling talent on the server, perhaps the best anywhere now, and it would be a shame to not include at least a few. However, ever since resocketing my gear for damage in arena, I can't really perform quite as well as the extra resilience and 1k+ HP go a lot further in duels than 100 spell damage and some crit. Perhaps that is just an excuse because I'm lazy.
I've been playing around with new intros in Vegas so don't think I've abandoned the project. ^^
If you have not seen this druid/mage 2s video, once again, go watch it. It's excellent!!
Leyla2 is also pretty fun to watch and, while it is most pwning noobs in BGs, is full of some pretty silly warrior OPness.
There's been a lot of solid videos these past few weeks; my only complaint in general is that in most arena videos I've watched this season, no losses are included. You can definitely play extremely well and still lose if your opponents play the top of their game at higher ratings -- it seems silly to me to show narrow win after narrow win.
** UPDATE ** Emocore version of intro with somewhat messed up timing. LOL.
