My excuse for lack of video is lame but ever since 2.1.2, my FPS has gone from 100 while frapsing down to about 25 and this really make it impossible to fraps and play my best. I'll keep trying to find a way to fix the problem, but until I do, I can't really record much. It is perhaps for the best as while I think I've gotten a lot stronger in 5s this season, I feel embarrassingly bad in 2s and 3s still, so I'll use the extra time to practice. ^^ (We still win but that's due to Yecal)
I'm still really undecided what to do in the next video. All three arena sizes and duels seems like too much to include and while 5v5 is generally boring as hell to watch, I think I play it better and more interestingly than I play the smaller brackets. (I'm much more aggressive than other WE mages on the battlegroup) There is now abundant dueling talent on the server, perhaps the best anywhere now, and it would be a shame to not include at least a few. However, ever since resocketing my gear for damage in arena, I can't really perform quite as well as the extra resilience and 1k+ HP go a lot further in duels than 100 spell damage and some crit. Perhaps that is just an excuse because I'm lazy.
I've been playing around with new intros in Vegas so don't think I've abandoned the project. ^^
If you have not seen this druid/mage 2s video, once again, go watch it. It's excellent!!
Leyla2 is also pretty fun to watch and, while it is most pwning noobs in BGs, is full of some pretty silly warrior OPness.
There's been a lot of solid videos these past few weeks; my only complaint in general is that in most arena videos I've watched this season, no losses are included. You can definitely play extremely well and still lose if your opponents play the top of their game at higher ratings -- it seems silly to me to show narrow win after narrow win.

Arrogant or not, we haven't met a team that actually has a chance of beating us if we play properly, except MAYBE this gay 4dps dotgib team.
And once we farm SR they wont have a chance either.

It's kinda disappointingly imo either way. I like BG PvP okay, but it is pretty much just the same as the other WE + LC vids out there except he hits harder but dies faster.
The arena "test" was a cool idea but some of his opponents are just ridiculously bad; honestly, I never see people that clueless lol.
Think the Faxmonkey vid is still unapproved, so no one without a subscription can view it.

He hits harder, yes, but it appears to be a flask in some of his shots.
Not to mention, lightning capacitor may be from pve, but nobody can argue that it isn't pvp as well.
And yes, some of his opponents were just ridiculously bad, but at least he showed rated arena instead of those scrubs who do 2v1 videos with their full glad. sets against 2 random scrubs in a scrimmage and put the vid up.
replace "scrub" with "jerks" - I don't wanna sound too ming-esque.

I thought that Drakedog's vid was actually really interesting, haven't seen something that good in a while. I never really liked his vids, but the fact that he's using succy primarily in TBC w/ full destro spec is kinda fresh. That's all that's left in WoW imo is doing shit that's unique and suprising people with it.
Some vids I'd be interested in are like 41 survival hunter working people (or possibly a DoT hunter lolollol w/ no mortal shots gud idea imo)..arcane mages in arena w/ tirisfal pieces and high +dmg..Destro lock w/ 21 in demon w/ sac'd imp in pve, or maybe pvp but not sure how that'd work out lol..and maybe a sweet SoL crit priest

ming is a character, that's for sure. i think he does it for the same reason the rappers do. creating some publicity (for better or worse) is better than no publicity at all. :P
that druid/mage video is pretty much insane. i could see that team being rated 1300 if it was played by poor players. if there was ever a skill based 2v2 that is the one. mage and druid may be the hardest classes to play correctly, especially druid.

I honestly feel like 10 X stronger in pvp with my gladiator staff.
The Faxmonkey video was neat I guess, it had some impressive burst, but I mean it was basically a mage in full PvE gear, killing people in full greens with no resiliance. FB crit for 3k and they go to 45% hp =/
He's never gonna get any good clips vs good PvPers because he just doesn't have the gear for it, and he'd get absolutely destroyed by a good player in Glad gear.
The arena thing was as you said, pretty interesting, but the only one he was close to losing, the mage AP -> PoM -> Pyro'd him like 5 seconds after he had iceblocked while he was just sitting there in the iceblock, and then he barely lost to FM -_- most of those players didn't even damage him, they were just ridiculously awful.
The 2v2 video is very very good :)

In response to the question about computer specs...
I run a Core 2 Duo e6300 @ 3.5 ghz (overclocked on water cooling - yes I know I'm a huge nerd) with a Geforce 7900 GTX, and I get over 100 fps pretty much all the time at 1650*1080 (widescreen). In some outland areas, zangarmarsh being a good example, it drops to 50-70 fps, but it still owns.
I think WoW is a very processor heavy game. A good processor goes a LONG way if your gfx card is already decent.
I run pretty much the same system with an 8800gtx and a non-OC'd processor
I play pretty much min graphical settings @ 1024x768. All shaders, terrain etc. minimized, still get like 25 fps while frapsing since 2.12.
Hmmm... what is your fraps recording framerate set to Raddy? I believe the options are 25, 30, 50, 60. I usually set mine to 50, because it is playable but doesn't bog down my system too much.
Whatever you set it to with the newest version of fraps is what framerate you get while recording. Yours might be set to 25, which is why you get 25 when it's on.
When you encode your movie later on, you can easily alter the framerate.

I'm not sure what is worse, your problem or mine. At least mine records. The only problem is, once I've recorded something, my entire computer is just screwed. The processor tanks out at 100% for no reason, and I can't close any program, including the game I was recording. In the end, I am forced to hit the power button.
I'm seeing is their tech support can figure it out...
