Denmark is the worst country of all when it comes to personal taxes. With a decent salary you are gonna pay 60 % top income tax. The system is progressive so the more you earn the more you pay. except that... the USA is a shithole with terrible public institutions, a dysfunctional democracy, awful economy and infrastructure, fervent religious fundamentalism and absolute shit for TV. I would much rather live and raise a family in europe thanks. The EU is the biggest economy in the world. We might have lower disposable income but we have a much better standard of living. Don't worry you will catch up in the next few decades hopefully.
