I'm not sure on the exact range between the IF dummies and I can't test (horde) but they might simply be too far from each other to hit all four.; May 19, 2009 at 7:36 PM

Raddy said...: There isn't any "trick" to this really -- it just takes advantage of the game's netcode.

When you move forwards or sideways, you tell the server the location from which you moved, but you do not update the server with your location until you perform an action. (Either changing direction or casting etc)

PBAoE spells are therefore like 2 overlapping circles in what they reach. The circle from whence you came and the circle where you currently stand.

This is also why when you want to LOS a cast, you should force an update as you break LOS. (Tapping strafe, rightclicking to turn etc)

YMMV trying to exploit this to change how you kite melee.

Hitting four with AE is almost certainly possible -- I literally have had zero time to try it out sadly. =(
